Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue and click on any items that you wish to purchase and put them into the shopping basket by clicking `Add to Basket`.
After you have finished your selection you can review/edit your selection by clicking the `view basket` icon.
When you are happy with your selection click the `checkout` icon and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
A 50% deposit is required on all Locomotives & Rolling Stock. An invoice will be sent when the items are ready for despatch, showing the total amount outstanding, including VAT & carriage where applicable. The balance is due at least 7 days before collection or delivery.

Payments made by cheque with payment before delivery.
Print two copies of the invoice that is displayed at the end of the ordering process and send one with your cheque made payable to `Roanoke` to the address above. Once payment has been received we will confirm the order via email or telephone.

Shipping And Handling
Goods are posted or despatched by carrier at the customers own risk, unless insurance is specially requested. Goods over the value of £50 are automatically insured.
Delivery Schedule
We deliver your order right away once ready for despatch.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, VAT is added.at the current rate.

Whereas every precaution has been taken to describe our goods accurately, no liability is accepted for mis'descriptions, errors or omissions. Due to constant development, we reserve the right to alter specifications without prior notice. Whilst all care is taken in despatching goods ordered, we cannot accept liability for defects unless we receive written notification within 7 days of receipt of goods.
The title of the goods will not pass to the customer until full payment has been received. In the event of an order cancellation by the customer the deposit for that order will be forfeited. We will not be held accountable for completion times of specials or locomotives not in our current range.
Orders will only be despatched after payment of purchase price: we do not offer a C.O.D. service.
